Korean movie gains theater profits of 2.18 billion won per one film

According to balance sheets of Korean movie industry in 2004 released by KOFIC (The Korean Film Council), Korean films released in theater last year amounted to 78 films.

As the total amount of theater profits was 479.3 billion won, theater profit per one film appeared to be 6.4 billion won.

Considering that production costs per one film were 4.3 billion won (presumption), movie one film earned 2.18 billion won, up 66.9% compared with previous year (1.3 billion won)
