Dramas have always been the center of attention among Koreans with their cheerful characters played by young, hip and stylish celebrities. This year, the fever will go on, but this time it will be led by none other than "ajumma".

"Ajumma" is a Korean term that refers to middle-aged women who are married and usually represented as strong, fearless and dependable.

Two television networks have already aired dramas depicting the lives of these women: MBC's "A Beauty's Unmatched, Park Jeong-geum", and SBS's "First Wives Club".

Now, Korean fans will welcome another drama full of romance, humor and humanity, all conjoined into the life of a normal, but courageous "ajumma".

Choi Jin-sil and Jeong Joon-ho, from "Marrying the Mafia" (2002), have teamed up with director Lee Tae-gon for the new drama, "Last Scandal" (working title) a Cinderella story of a 39-year-old "ajumma".

Lee Hye-young is as busy as a bee in spring.
Apart from her primary job as an actress, she attends business meetings, settles accounts and appears on home-shopping television channels to promote fashion products.
Lee, 37, launched her own fashion brand, Missing Dorothy, in 2004 because of her interest in fashion.
The line reached 40 billion won ($42.3 million) in sales last year.
Lee is just one of many celebrities who have a side job.
Numberous well-known actors have their own fashion labels, including Uhm Jung-hwa "Zuhm in New York", Hwang Sin-hye "Elypry", Byeon Jeong-soo "Ella Hoya Secret", Hyeon Yeong "Vivacella", So Yoo-jin "Silver Apple" and Chae Yeon "Cycloset".

"Professionally, entertainers have lots of contact with the fashion industry", said Baek Eun-sook, a public relations official of Missing Dorothy.
Lee first launched a clothing line in 2004 and it quickly became popular.

A slew of celebrities filled aA Design Museum near Hongik University in Seoul where adidas Originals presented its 2008 spring/summer collection on Wednesday.

The list of Korean stars included model-turned-actress and fashion icon Byeon Jeong-soo, movie actress Choi Kang-hee and comedian/musical star Hong Rocky.

Taking the two popular themes "Music" and "Art", adidas Originals showcased its spring/summer look with a more sophisticated interpretation than the previous line. All items, from jogging pants to semi-formal jackets, showed a more refined design, and the German sports apparel manufacturer delivered its new concepts: "adi Grun", "Handbags for feet', "Original game", "Tournament Edition", "Sounds of the City" and "Respect M.E". The sports wear house also introduced its new denim collection named "adidas Originals denim by diesel".

Actress Byeon Jeong-soo provided her volunteer services in Kenya, Africa for ten days as the PR ambassador of the international relief organization Good Neighbors. Byeon and her family, her husband Ryoo Yong-woon and eldest daughter Chae-won, visited Gorogocho Village in Kenya, one of the world's three Grand Slams, where they played games with Kenyan children.

Byeon also visited the families of children whom she has known for a long time and shed tears at the sight of the poor conditions they live in. The actress has been an anti-child abuse activist for a while and has acted as Good Neighbors' PR ambassador since 2003. Her latest visit to Kenya was filmed by photographer Cho Sun-hee, a close friend of Byeon's. The footage will be shown at a special exhibition....
