It is the worst movie of 2005. i couldn't believe wat i seen in this movie. for me this movie was going backward. i admired the director of this movie. he was the best. i couldn't tell exactly the problem of this movie but i reserved one good excuse for this complain. too much flying. how can i normal human fly. they weren't ninjas like in the "ANIME" that they can fly easily, they were just a soldier carrying a swords en spares, u know!

too much flying? thats a tradition of both korean and chinese. watch more chinese film and korean and you'll see. Dont stick more in ANIME.. thats not the basis of a good asian film. I might be an amateur in directing but yeah, i have learned in their films. dont judge first, you have too study it first. There is no worst movie, they all have story deep with in.

no thanks, who ever you r, director or not, change the way you u make a film, make it more realistic. don't make nonsense. ok? flying? normal human can fly? they don't have any special power like superman. maybe u have a special power, that was why u said it was a good film, but i tell u wat i'm studying film too so don't tell me to watch more chinese flying movie. ok buddy! good luck to your flying movie career, wish your movie may fly.

i do agree with you. the movie wasn't bad. and with the "flying" thing this moron here simply don't understand the word "ART". u are exactly right that chinese and korean movies are known for these kind of effects. that's one of the effects that even hollywood cannot copy. it's actually depicted in their culture and beliefs and later, was put in the art of filming. the movie "the promise" really has a deep sense which means to say, only sensible people can totally understand it's rooted meaning. so, for those morons who simply can't accept the beauty of this film. keep ur mouth shut and ur eyes open.
