Actors who starred in movies written by Guiyeoni have become top stars in the movie industry. These stars are Kang Dong-won, Jo Han-seon, Song Seung-heon, and Jang Geun-seok.

"Temptation of Wolves" helped Kang Dong-won and Jo Han-seon, who were new actors then, to rise to the top. They played high school students. Kang Dong-won captured the hearts of high school girls with his perfect looks, and Jo Han-seon captured audiences with his tough, rebel image. After this movie, they have been cast in various movies and have become top actors.

Song Seung-heon was in "The Guy Was Cool" as a rebellious high school student and acted with Jeong Da-bin, who is now deceased. He played a trustworthy boyfriend who always helped his girlfriend to get out of trouble. Although he was rough to other friends, he was affectionate toward his girlfriend. He plays a charismatic character in "Fate", which is playing now.

On a breezy spring day in March 2008, the entertainment investigation team of Sports Khan sensed an emergency. The argument between female stars about their influence has become fierce, almost to the point of battle. Accordingly, under the supervision of Detective Choi, the entertainment investigation team had a briefing on the 'Map of Various Powerful Female Stars'. A record of the questions and answers from the briefing are provided.

Detective Choi: As you all know, we've gathered here to discuss the toppling balance of the influence of top female celebrities. Firstly, the 'super model' group has almost taken over the 'Miss Korea' group and has become the 'big sister' of the entertainment industry. Also, the new 'internet beauty' group is extended its boundaries. Contrary to these changes, the 'horror story' group is still steadily on the top.

Chairman Oh: Surprising. 'Super models' are not only tall but are growing in power? What is their weapon? Sushi knives? Wooden sticks?

"Beautiful " may be the last word that comes to mind when one thinks of scary movies. But appalling zombies and grotesque images are very much last season, as the horror genre has had a big makeover.

The shocking juxtaposition of beauty with creepiness, rather than pure gore, is luring viewers.

In "The Cut", currently in theaters and drawing large audiences despite the tough competition with films such as "Harry Potter 5", a group of medical students begin their anatomy class, and a series of mysterious murders ensues.

The idea of dissecting cadavers evokes gore, but the students are presented with a cadaver of a young woman who was once gorgeous. Choi Hye-jeong, a former model, plays the role of the mysterious lady. Korea's first cadaver dummy wears a rose tattoo on her breast, retaining a perfect figure beyond death.

The film's core chills are derived from haunting images of bloody red rose petals falling from the sky and the juxtapositio...

A Bloody Aria Directed by Won Sin-yeon Starring Lee Moon-sik, Han Seok-kyu Running time: 112 minutes Subtitles: English Genre: Drama

In "A Bloody Aria", the things we most admire turn out to be scathing mockeries, whether it's an opera singer who turns out be a bad kisser (and a would-be rapist); a tranquil countryside scene usually associated with innocence and nostalgia in provincial novels turning into a bloody mess; or even a brand-new Mercedes that, when its tires hit a trifling puddle, won't move an inch.

The film subverts the audience's expectations in every way. Then, as the tension grows, violence hits.
In-jeong (Cha Ye-ryeon), a young soprano, accompanies Yeong-seon on a joyride on a countryside road, perhaps hoping he can help her land the role of the heroine in an upcoming opera, where Yeong-seon is part of the auditions jury. His plan, however, is something else. He tries to rape her when they arrive at a deserted lake.

What
The 4th San Francisco Korean American Film Festival will showcase 41 films, including 17 Korean American works, contemporary South Korean features and special screening of a North Korean film. Four public forums will also discuss this year's theme, "Beyond Borders: Demystifying the Korean Image through the Media Arts". This is the only festival in the United States that celebrates Korean and Korean American media arts.
