Viewers will soon be able to see the fifth part of the movie series "Whispering Corridors" entitled "A Blood Pledge", which began in 1998. The series has gained popularity so far for producing many top actresses, such as Kim Gyoo-ri, Choi Kang-hee, Park Jin-hee, Kim Min-seon, Park Ye-jin, Lee Yeong-jin, Kong Hyo-jin, Song Ji-hyo, Park Han-byeol, Cho An, Kim Ok-bin, Seo Ji-hye, Chae Ye-rin and this time Jang Kyeong-ah, 22, Son Eun-seo, 23, Oh Yeon-seo, 22, Yoo Shin-ae, 21, and Song Min-jeong, 22.We met with the five soon-to-be horror stars ahead of the movie's opening, expecting to see them nervous and excited. But their sassiness made them appear confident. She has been in the photoshoot with concept of "Bohemian Rhapsody" for the st.a casual brand's s ummer collection. Choi cut her hair short for the movie character and put on a lot of stylish accessories to express her femininity. Her color and the orange lipstick make her trademark of her pale face even more emphasized. Choi is in the new film, "Disabled" taking the character Ae-ja costarring with Kim Young-ae. "My Scary Girl"ㆍ"Attack the Gas Station!"ㆍ"Radio Star"
Many musicals based on films have been staged in the past few years, leading to the coining of the new term "movical". The phenomenon is expected to continue this spring as three creative musical productions based on film adaptations will open next month. "My Scary Girl", based on the same-titled Korean film that starred Choi Kang-hee and Park Yong-woo, opens March 6 at the Chungmu Art Hall. It's a love story between "Daewoo", a 30 year old college English instructor who has never yet dated a girl, and a mystery girl named "Mina", who murders without blinking an eye. It's a romantic comedy but the uniquely clownish characters and wacky storyline delivers hearty amusement. Two multi-role actors will play Mina's ex-boyfriend, a ghost and other parts in the musical for a comical twist. The show runs through May 17. Tickets cost W45,000.
