In the movie "Scarlet Innocence", directed by Lim Pil-seong, Jeong Woo-seong stars as Sim Hak-kyu, a character inspired by the classic Korean tale "Simcheong". Hak-kyu is a poor blind man whose daughter Cheong, the story's heroine, sacrifices herself to a sea god to raise money for the restoration of her father's eyes.
