
Pi Story ("Shark Bait") (co-directed by Lee Kyeong-Ho, John Fox, and Howard Baker; and co-produced by FX Digital, DIGIART, and Wonder World LCC), the first Korea-US 3D animation collaboration, is reaping success in foreign markets.
On Dec. 21, DIGIART announced that "'in this year's AFM (American Film Market), Pi Story' ("Shark Bait") completed worldwide copyright sales except in Japan, France, and Germany".
Pi Story ("Shark Bait") has "contracted with a minimum guarantee of about $5 M" and "if the running guarantee that reaches an average of up to 50%, the film is expected to draw the largest sales record in foreign markets not only among Korean animations but also Korean films in general".
