Eom Ji-won, first attempt at historical play with movie "Mr. Vertigo"

The movie "Mr. Vertigo" is a thriller about Hong Jin-ho (Hwang Jeong-min), who is chasing a mysterious serial killer, and medical student Kwang-su (Ryoo Deok-hwan), his helper.

This movie is Eom Ji-won's first attempt at a historical play. She plays Soon-duk, a noble's wife who secretly acts as a female inventor and helps Jin-ho by making him inventions that he needs for his investigation.

Eom Ji-won has been recognized for her acting through movies "Trace of Love", "The Scarlet Letter", and "Scout". Through the role of Soon-duk, she will have a wonderful and elegant side as a noble's wife, and also a tough and powerful side as a female inventor.

Eom Ji-won said, "Soon-duk, both a noble's wife and a new woman, is an important character. She has a lot of charm and I personally feel an attachment to her. I'm looking forward to it and I hope you will be interested in "Mr. Vertigo"".

One of the masterpiece films "The Chaser" has been nominated for 11 different awards for the 45th annual Daejong Film Festival that will be on the 27th at Seoul Samsungdong Coex Convention Hall. The festival will be aired in the SBS channel live.

Last year, actress Kim Ah-joong and announcer Choi Ki-hwan received the highest award. Wondergirls who's "So Hot" song is a big hit performed "Tell Me" and Ok Joo-hyun performed a song from the musical "Chicago". We anticipate which performers will be performing in the festival this year.

A robust, grisly horror film boosted by excellent performances

A meek but kind insurance salesman Jeon Jun-O (Hwang Jeong-Min, "Happiness") is handpicked by a creepy metalworker, Park Choong-Bae (Kang Shin-Il, "Silmido"), for renewal of the policies on the his family. Visiting Park's spectacularly decrepit adobe, Jun-O ends up discovering the body of Park's young son, apparently a suicide.

Meeting Choong-Bae's wife Yi-Hwa (Yoo Seon, "The Wig" - "Scary Hair"), a pale beauty who has seemingly exhausted her capacity for grief, Jun-O begins to suspect that the boy's death was in fact a murder, and that she is next in line.

Photographers picked Ha Jeong-woo and Kim Hye-soo for having the most 'wonderful face'.

The movie entertainment weekly magazine Movie Week held its annual 'Wonderful Face 25', and the two were the top two males and females. It is Ha Jeong-woo's first time, and it is Kim Hye-soo's second time after 2006.

The order is determined by Korea's photographers and photo reporters, who see the stars' faces closest. Movie Week asked them to pick three males and three females who had a 'wonderful face for a subject for photography'.

This year, Jeong Ryeo-won was second, Jeon Do-yeon was third, Im Soo-jeong was fourth, and Kim Min-hee was fifth. Han Ye-seul, Kim Min-seon, Han Ji-min, Han Chae-young, Lee Yeon-hee, Bae Doona, Son Ye-jin, and Kim Tae-hee were also picked. Talented stars have been popular since high school. It is obvious that stars would graduate from art schools, such as Anyang Art High School, where "Rain", Se7en, Park Han-byeol graduated from, and Kaywon Art High School, where Hwang Jeong-min, Kim Ji-soo, and Jo Seung-woo graduated from. But there are also many stars who come from regular schools.

Suhmoon High School is the most prominent. Some graduates are Lee Hyo-lee, Han Ji-min of "Yi San", super model/actress Lee Hwa-seon, actress Park So-eun, and singer Lee So-eun.
