 "Jin Sa-woo can control diverse feelings. This character brought about a turning point in my acting career", says actor Jeong Joon-ho, 39, who plays a spy in the KBS TV drama "Iris". Jeong's role contrasts sharply with his previous comical roles in "My Boss, My Teacher" and "Last Scandal".Jeong's acting talent shines in the action scenes of "Iris". | War, crime, action, a love triangle and good-looking actors. "Iris", the upcoming espionage TV drama, seems to have all the makings of an entertaining show. Indeed, the program has been generating plenty of hype since the unveiling of its A-list cast and blockbuster scale. With about six weeks to go until it airs, the cast of Iris gathered at a promotional event Monday at the Cheonggye Plaza downtown as part of the third Chungmuro International Film Festival in Seoul. The event began with a 10-minute trailer for the show, which was filmed in Korea, Japan and Hungary. Many scenes in the clip involved large-scale explosions and gunfights, as the drama tells the story of assassins in South and North Korea who work for their respective nations.  Top actress Jang Jin-yeong, who had been struggling with stomach cancer, died on September 1 at age 37. Jang's agency, Yedang Entertainment, said the actress passed away at 4:04 p.m. at St. Mary's Hospital in Seoul.Jang learned about her disease in September last year during a health checkup, and since then had undergone treatment in Seoul. Her condition improved once, and she even attended a concert of singer Kim Gun-mo in May. In July this year she received treatment in the U.S. and shortly afterward disclosed that she had a boyfriend. The actress also received acupuncture treatment and even talked about it on TV. But she was hospitalized again because her condition deteriorated last month, and she was told that her cancer had spread all over the body and was impossible to cure.
