Biography

Born in 1965. He studied fashion design and photography in Korea and also majored in film arts at The Pratt Institute in New York. While in the States, he made various short films like “Journey” and “Metamorphosis” and with his great interest in contemporary arts and media arts, he took part in various projects and performances with local artists. He was also once the coordinator of the world famous video artist BAEK Nam-joon. Upon his return to Korea, he worked as the assistant director under leading director PARK Kwang-su in films and gained much hands on experience with directing.
