Lee Dong-geon, Kim Seon-ah "When It's At Night" – Enters filming this month

Lee Dong-geon and Kim Seon-ah's new drama "When It's At Night" is looking forward to its first filming.

It plans to air after MBC "Yi San", and the first episode will come out on June 16. The romantic comedy tells the story of a womanizer and an extreme patriot who both go out to find a national treasure.

The screenplay has been finished recently, and the producers are going to Japan on the 14th. Filming in Japan will occur mid-May, and they are hoping to find a location.

After the script reading during the fourth week of April, filming will begin on the last week. Lee Dong-geon will be acting for the first time since his brother's death, and Kim Seon-ah is coming back from a 3-year hiatus after "My Name is Kim Sam-soon".

Kim Seon-ah received the role of Huh Cho-hee, a 29-year-old single woman who is lean and sexy. She enters the security bureau of the cultural artifacts department, and meets Kim Bum-sang, a professor of ancient art.

Independent and Digital Films to Screen Jeonju Film Festival Opens April 23

Since there are so many film festivals around the world, it might be hard sometimes to find differences between each film festival. Characterized as a festival of independent and digital films, however, the Jeonju International Film Festival (JIFF), which is holding its fifth event this year, tries to find its own identity.

"The main characteristic of the festival can be well summarized by our slogan, 'Freedom, Independence and Communication",' said Min Bung-lock, director of the JIFF. "So, we will basically provide the place for minor low-budget film makers to play their works and to have a chance to meet the audience who want to experience such unique films as independent and digital films, which can't be normally shown in local theaters".

Kicking off its 10-day festival from April 23 to May 2 in Chonju, North Cholla Province, the event will present about 220 films from 30 countries, opening with director Min Byung-guk's debut film "Kanunghan...| More
