SM Entertainment to Hold Audition in US, Canada

S.M. Entertainment, the entertainment agency that created Girls' Generation, TVXQ and girl group f(x), will hold a global audition in the United States and Canada to look for aspiring talent.

"We are looking forward to many passionate contestants through this year's global audition", the agency said through a press release.

It will start Nov. 15 in Los Angeles and continue in other cities including New York and Toronto and Vancouver, Canada.

It will be divided into five categories of singers, actors, models, dancers and songwriters. There is no age limit and anyone who is Asian can apply.

The final winners of the auditions will be given the chance to sign with SM Entertainment, which will train and invest in them in order to create the next global star.

Where Is Kim Ki-beom in Super Junior?

One of Korea's hottest idol group, Super Junior, released its third regular album in March and is currently sweeping the music charts with its title song, "Sorry, Sorry". However, one member of the band is prominently absent from all the performances so far, although Super Junior's latest album claims to have all thirteen members involved. The 13-member group has been working in sub-groups in recent years.

An official with Super Junior's agency flatly denied that Kim Ki-beom is out of the team and currently staying with his parents in America. The inside source said that Kim Ki-beom is preparing for his acting debut in Korea and reiterated that he's an important part of Super Junior. `Attack' Serves Super-Sized Comedy

Imagine good-looking boys reigning at the top of a kingdom called high school: Choose your favorite among lace-clad Little Prince types to tough, sexy guys or clean-cut charmers.

S.M. Pictures of S.M. Entertainment, the production company that pumped out K-pop icons like BoA, H.O.T. and S.E.S., didn't have to look far for casting stars of their first filmmaking venture. Featuring all 13 members of the super-sized boy band Super Junior -- and a panda bear, "Attack on the Pin-Up Boys" is, well, super-sized.

With grossly exaggerated yet believable dialogue and flashy after effects (graphic images, like hearts popping out of characters' eyes), "Attack" is over the top. Instead of falling into the trap of traditional Korean idol films, this teen movie plunges directly into them -- by fully "exploiting" pretty faces, it manages to pull together something surprisingly bemusing.
