In 2008, two 'Iljimae's will find the home theater.

The SBS historical drama "Iljimae", starring Lee Joon-ki, will air from the 21st after "On Air". In response, MBC is airing drama "Iljimae", starring Lee Seung-gi, at the end of the year. It is unconventional for two dramas with the same title to air on public television in the same year. Thus, it is inevitable that we compare 'Joon-ki's Iljimae' and 'Seung-gi's Iljimae'.

Kim Seung-woo and Bae Doona go to Cambodia

Actor Kim Seung-woo and actress Bae Doona went to Cambodia for to film.

The crew for the upcoming drama series 'How to Meet a Perfect Neighbor' including the two left for a ten-day shoot in Cambodia on the 2nd. This is the first time a Korean drama series is being filmed on location in Cambodia.

The series 'How to Meet a Perfect Neighbor' questions what a perfect neighbor is while reflecting upon those who vow to live together forever as a married couples.

Kim Seung-woo plays Baek Soo Chan, a former player, while Bae Doona takes on the role of Jung Yoon Hee, a comic secretary for a conglomerate chairman. Son Hyeon-joo, Kim Seong-ryrong, Ahn Seon-yeong, Kim Roi-Ha, Park Kwang-Su, and others will also be starring in the series.

The crew will film the various episodes that happen between the main characters who meet in a foreign location by chance.

Bae Doona to Join Kim Seung-woo in Drama Series

Actor Kim Seung-woo and Bae Doona were both cast in the SBS drama series 'How to Meet a Perfect Neighbor', performing together again after four years.

Kim Seung-woo and Bae Doona who appeared together in the 2003 KBS drama series 'Rosemary' with Yoo Ho-Jeong will once again play the role of lovers as a former host and clumsy secretary.

'How to Meet a Perfect Neighbor' draws the story of four people who reside in corporate housing of an automotive company. The series has also gathered attention for featuring illustrator and comic creator Park Kwang-su, his first time acting, along with Park Si-Hoo, Son Hyeon-Joo, Kim Roi-Ha, Ahn Seon-yeong, Park Won-Sook, and others.

Gong Pil-du (Lee Moon-sik), detective in charge of violent crimes who has no talent in the job is a headache to his colleagues. The forty-year-old detective is bachelor and has no interests in marriage despite his father's (Byeon Hee-bong) browbeating.

One day, his father falls down. Gong Pil-du goes to Tae-gon (Kim Soo-ro) who is gang member to borrow money for surgery. But he is deceived by Tae-gon and falsely accused of corruption. Gong follows Tae-gon's girlfriend, Min-ju (Kim Yoo-mi) to catch Tae-gon.

The movie "Detective Mr. Gong" to be released on May 11 is like a soup that college students make in membership training camp. Because all sorts of ingredients are put in the soup, it is hard to understand what the soup was supposed to be.

Comparing it to Park Chan-Wook's 'Old Boy' is off the mark

Lee Byeong-heon plays Seon Woo, an owner of a bar (named "La Dolce Vita") and a lieutenant to a gangster boss (Kim Young Chul). He is entrusted with a job of looking after the boss's very young girlfriend Hee Soo (Shin Min-ah). To Seon Woo's consternation, however, the boss also orders him to kill her (and her lover) if she ever "strays". When Seon Woo catches her red-handed, though, he cannot quite bring himself to carry out his job. He lets her go... a decision with which he now puts his own life at risk.

The first half of the film advances with a languorous rhythm of a sleepy-eyed cat prowling his haunts.
