 Actor Kim Sung-soo has held his first fan meeting in Japan. Having gained popularity since the KBS2 drama "Full House" was aired there, Kim met some 500 fans at the Yamano Hall in Tokyo on Sunday.The actor talked about the drama "My Precious You", in which he is currently appearing as a single father with two children. "I decided to appear in the drama because I liked the character's good personality", he said. "I learned a lot by playing the role. Child-rearing and housework are really hard jobs. I think mothers should get paid a lot". He also told the fans about how he grew up, showing photos from when he was an infant to his high school years, and confided difficulties he had after becoming an actor. | Rarely does a weekend family drama make the splash that KBS' "Mom's Dead Upset" did. The hit series ended with a bang last Sunday, garnering viewer ratings of 39.7 percent nationwide, according to AGB Nielsen Media research. Hoping to continue their winning streak, KBS is following it up with a light and comic romance about a radio producer and a disc jockey. Celebrities Kim Sung-soo and Lee Tae-ran will be playing the title roles. Actor Kim, 35, stars as a has-been pop singer who takes a job as a radio disc jockey. Actress Lee Tae-ran, 33, plays the domineering co-worker who bickers her way into his heart. Co-star Park Hae-mi, however, expressed reservations about the decidedly more youthful bent of the upcoming family drama -- titled "My Precious You" -- at the press conference on Tuesday.  The final episode of the hit KBS drama series "Mom's Dead Upset" was aired on September 28. The popular drama series ended with a viewer rating of 40%. According to TNS Media Korea, the drama series garnered a viewer rating of 40.6% on Sunday. The highest viewer rating for the drama series was 42.7% on September 21.In the final episode, Han-ja, who had left home and her family to enjoy some freedom of her own, returns home after finding out that her pregnant daughter-in-law Mi-yeon was showing signs of a miscarriage. The last scene shows the whole family playing a round of yut. According to GB Nielsen Media Research, the viewer rating for the final episode was 39.7%. Staff Reporter Actors Kwon Sang-woo, 32, and Son Tae-yeong, 28, tied the knot Sunday at a three-hour private wedding that drew a crowd including top Korean stars, reporters and fans from Japan. Before the wedding, the elegantly dressed couple appeared in front of fans and photographers, smiling and holding hands. "I thank everybody for coming, even those who came all the way from Japan. We promise we will do our best to live happily", Kwon said. The two actors met through friend and fellow actor Kim Sung-soo and when Kwon was asked if he talked to anybody before the wedding, he smiled and said he talked to Kim. When asked of how many children they were planning to have, they had their differences.
