Along with director CHOIHA Dong-ha, Kyung-soon works at the production company, Redsnowman. The documentary film < Mindullae > (1999) won her the Year’s Best Independent Film Award. She was again awarded in 2001 with < Patriot Game >. In 2004, her film, < What Do People Live for > (2003) was screened at Jeonju International Film Festival’s “Korean Cinema: Collision and Continuity.”

The AmérAsia Film Festival is proud to announce the five principle subcategories – Asian Treasures, Animation Spotlight, WeDistribute, Québécois Special and AmerAsia (AA) Shorts – for this third edition of Montreal's premiere festival celebrating the latest Asian and Asian-Canadian cinema, taking place on the first two weekends of March.
