Talented stars have been popular since high school. It is obvious that stars would graduate from art schools, such as Anyang Art High School, where "Rain", Se7en, Park Han-byeol graduated from, and Kaywon Art High School, where Hwang Jeong-min, Kim Ji-soo, and Jo Seung-woo graduated from. Actress Lee Seung-yeon, 39, married a 37-year-old businessman at Sol Beach Resort in Yangyang, Gangwon Province, Friday.

The couple met two years ago through one of their friends. Her husband Kim Moon-chul is an aspiring fashion entrepreneur based in the United States.

About 400 visitors, including her close celebrity friends, blessed the wedding ceremony, which was not open to the public.

Actor Yoon Da-hoon hosted the ceremony and veteran actor Lee Soon-jae officiated.

The newly weds will take a one-week honeymoon trip to the U.S. after staying at the resort for a day.

Lee is renowned for her role in the movie "3-Iron". She started her acting career after winning third place in the 1992 Miss Korea beauty pageant.

She took roles in TV soaps such as "Our Heaven" (1993) and "First Love - 1996" (1996). Lee also starred in the TV dramas "Perfect Love" (2003), "Love and Ambition" (2006) and "Moonhee" (2007).

It's been 15 years since actress Lee Seung-yeon, 39, made her debut as Miss Korea, but this year may be her happiest.
At the end of this month, she is tying the knot with Kim Mun-cheol, a Korean businessman living in America. Kim is two years younger than Lee.
At a press conference last Thursday, Lee said she is "embarrassed, mortified and tense, but at the same time very happy" at the prospect of marriage. She feels as if she's becoming older and wiser as her big day approaches.
"I will try my best to become a good wife, daughter-in-law and daughter", Lee said, alluding to a 2004 incident in which she made headlines for posing as a "comfort woman" in erotic photos and videos.
Lee and her entertainment company had hoped to promote the plight of the former sex slaves by raising money from the photos.
But some former comfort women were so outraged that they insisted the project be canceled.
The wedding ceremony will take place over two days at a beach resort in Yangyang, Gangwon...

Lee Seung-yeon, 39, heroine of the movie "3-Iron", will wed Dec. 28.

Looking both nervous and happy at a press conference held Thursday, a tearful Lee said that she will be a good wife, daughter-in-law and daughter. Lee also said she wants to have two children and continue acting after the marriage.

Lee met her fiance Kim two years ago at a social gathering. Kim is a fashion entrepreneur based in United States and is two years her junior. Kim, however, did not attend the press conference and Lee wants to keep information about her husband-to-be from the public.

The couple plans to wed outside Seoul city. Their wedding will be held at Sol Beach Resort in Yangyang, Gangwon Province.

Lee only started her acting career after proving herself as one of Korea's top beauties. After taking third place in the 1992 Miss Korea beauty pageant, she soon made it to the screen, starting out with roles in TV soaps such as "Our Heaven" (1993) and "First Love - 1996" (1996)...
