Biography

Born in 1976, graduate Hanyang University, Cinema major. Was invited to Pusan International Film Festival Wide Angle section in 1996 with his first short film “Weekend”. Later directed short film “Mom, I’m Sorry”(1997), “Spring”(1998), and was in charge of making film for "Wanee and Junah"(2001, Director KIM Yong-gyoon).

Although the number crunchers in Hollywood estimate that US theatrical admissions sank to their lowest level since 1995, things were not so gloomy in Korea.
