Biography

Born in 1973. In 1998, NOH studied filmmaking in the Hankyeoreh Film Production School and graduated from the Korean Academy of Film Arts in 2003. His work has earned him recognition both domestically and internationally. His short film, “Chorong & Me” (2001) was invited to the 1st Mise-en-scene’s Genres Film Festival and it received the Audience Award at Indieforum 2002. His other short film “Doggy” (2003) was invited to several film festivals in Korea and the 22nd Vancouver International Film Festival. In 2004, he made his feature-film debut with which was screened at the 9th Pusan International Film Festival, the 34th International Film Festival Rotterdam, the 29th Hong Kong International Film Festival and the 18th Singapore International Film Festival.
