Popularity rating of dramas in 2007, from top 5 to bottom 5

As the year 2007 ended, the dramas are also changing its path. On 26th, SBS Wed-Thur drama, "Lobbyist" was finished, followed by KBS 2 "In-Soon is Pretty" on 27th. Previously, KBS1 historical drama, "Dae Jo Young" was crowned with perfection on 23rd. The following is the summary of popularity rating of dramas in 2007 (data provided by TNS Media Korea), beginning with MBC serial drama "Bad woman, Good woman" which began on 1st January 2007.

Hallyu Stars Give Sparkle to Korean Fashion

Korean celebrities turned into fashion models for one night for the first-ever Hallyu Stars Fashion Festival held at Seoul Plaza, Saturday evening.

Shinhwa member Andy, singers Son Ho-young, Bada and Kim Hyun-jeong and actress Park Eun-hye, were only some of the celebrities who walked down the fashion runway wearing stylish creations of Korean designers.

While it is no longer unusual to find a celebrity strutting their stuff on the fashion runways, the Hallyu Stars Fashion Festival represented the Seoul government's efforts to promote the Korean fashion industry with the help of the popularity of hallyu or Korean Wave.

Seoul Fashion Center (SFC), a government center created to promote the fashion industry, hopes Korea's designers would also achieve the same level of success as its stars. SFC director-general Hahn Seong-hee said the Hallyu Stars Fashion Festival would help attract attention to the fashion industry.

The word 'refreshing' best describes the first impression given by TV drama star, Han Hyo-joo. At a time when plastic surgery is all the rage among Korean actresses, it was truly delightful to meet the 20-year-old actress on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon. Her comforting smile was in stark contrast to the artificial smiles on the well-carved faces of some Korean actresses, whose appearances have been artfully crafted by a surgeon's knife.

She currently plays the heroine (Ji-soo) of the KBS TV1's daily series 'By Land and Sky'. Viewers are reminded of what true love is by watching two families of vastly different backgrounds on the set – one with its share of problems but strong loving bonds, and the other, affluent but lacking trust among family members. The series hit a 30-percent viewer rating on Monday, according to TNS Media Korea, a rating agency.
