Entertainer Noh Hong-chul, 29, is known for his bravado. During a recent episode of MBC's variety show, "Ultimate Challenge", he proved his boldness by calling President Lee Myung-bak while on the air.
Other cast members of the show including Yu Jae-suk and Jeong Jun-ha were surprised.

Actor Song Il-gook (37) and a 32-year-old Busan High Court Judge identified only by her family name "Jung" held a private wedding away from the media spotlight at the Sheraton Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul on March 15.

Officiated by the President of Chung-Ang University Park Beom-hoon, the traditional Korean-style wedding ceremony was attended by one thousand guests. Jazz artist Yoon Hee-jeong and singer Park Ae-ri from the National Changgeuk Company of Korea performed nuptial songs for the bride and groom.

The bride passed the bar exam while doing the doctorate course in the code of civil procedure at Seoul National University's Graduate School of Law. She finished her mandatory training at the Judicial Research and Training Institute in January and became appointed as a Busan High Court Judge in February. Song and Jung were introduced by a mutual friend. They tied the knot after two years of dating.

Actor Song Il-gook, 37, has been cleared of allegations that he assaulted a female reporter.

Officials from Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office said that the office cleared Song of all allegations and instead indicted the reporter without physical detention for filing false accusations.

Lee Jae-man, Song's attorney, told reporters that the allegations that Song assaulted the reporter, identified as Kim, proved to be completely untrue.

"The reporter Kim will be investigated for filing false allegations. Song has been cleared of all accusations", Lee told reporters.

Song previously filed a 2 billion won libel suit against the reporter who alleged that he hit her, and an Internet news company that first reported the story.

A freelance writer, who mainly contributes to a monthly ladies' magazine sued Song first, Jan. 24. She insisted that Song hit her with his elbow when she approached him, without an appointment, for an interview in front of his house. ...

TV star Song Il-gook's detailed wedding plan has been released. His wedding will take place at a five-star hotel in Seoul in the evening of March 15th. Instead of the western-style wedding ceremony preferred by today's young people, Song and his fiancée opted to go traditional.
