"SBS TV series 'Daemul - Big Thing' bothers you, right?" This was the first question the production team for KBS drama "President" received at a press conference held ahead of the drama's premiere on December 15. It was not that hard to guess that question would come up sooner or later. After all, both dramas are about politics with both main characters striving to become presidents and to top it off, they will air on same day and time slot. This practically stole attention to the fact that it will be the first time in 19 years that actor Choi Soo-jong and actress Ha Hee-ra, married in real life, have come together as couple in the upcoming show as well, as president and the first lady, to be more precise. But Choi, who will play the role of Jang Il-joon assures that the two dramas "are entirely different dramas". So how will the two differ? "Daemul - Big Thing" versus "President" and President Seo Hye-rim (Ko Hyeon-jeong) versus President Jang Il-joon. Which candidate gets chosen will be up to the voters, no, the TV viewers,...More

How did your agency respond? Heechul (Kim Hee-cheol): I think they only let it out because they didn't know what it means. (laugh) Shindong (Sin Dong-hee): If I had written it in Korean, I think they would've asked me to do it next time. (laugh) Heechul (Kim Hee-cheol): I had talked about this earlier with Leeteuk but if a fan had bought an album, saw that Shindong(Sin Dong-hee) had written a code so crack it to see he had asked someone to marry him... We were able to understand what a hard time comedians must have. And it's usually hard to maintain a segment for more than three months. We're into our ninth month now and it's very tough. So I'm thinking we should come up with something different. Q: Isn't it difficult getting the guests to display their talents on the show?Leeteuk: (Sigh and laugh) It's really difficult. And many of them say they don't want to so we have to keep persuading them. Eunhyuk: I had never been that interested in variety shows but I started taking part in it little by little because it sounded like so much fun when I listened to it,...More
