Sexy singing diva Lee Hyo-lee has been chosen as Korea's most powerful celebrity leading the fashion industry.

The cable channel "Olive" said Lee Hyo-lee nabbed the number one spot in a recent survey conducted prior to a brand new show hosted by supermodel and actress Byeon Jeong-soo.

Some 50 reporters for leading fashion magazines took part in the survey.

Fashion designer Andre Kim and actor Jo In-seong followed closely behind in the second and third spots, respectively. Stars, animals and art come together next week at Vogue Korea's 12th Anniversary exhibition: "Fashion Pet".

Showcasing photographs of 100 celebrities and their furry friends, this charity event pays tribute to these cute little companions.

High profile celebrities Lee Hyo-lee, Uhm Jung-hwa and Kim Jeong-eun will be featured in this upcoming exhibit, along with members from hit boy bands Super Junior, SHINee and Dong Bang Shin Ki.

Committed to print by some of Korea's best photographers - KT Kim, Koo Bohn-chang, Kim Bo-ha and Cho Sei-hon to name a few - this exhibit promises to deliver more than just a Hallmark moment.

From a glossy black and white shot of Dong Bang Shin Ki member Micky Yoo-chun and his dog, to a fashion spread of actress Kim Jeong-eun and her cat, viewers will be treated to an eclectic display.

Big Bang Members Branch Out as Soloists

Boy band Big Bang seems to have it all, from loving fans, stylish fashion trends, easy-to-memorize songs and the members' distinctive characteristics. Now, the ambitious group is expanding their talents in other fields including movies, musicals and even television, but not under the team Big Bang. The members are going solo for the time being.

Other pop groups, including now disbanded g.o.d. and Fin.K.L, and the still running Shinhwa, Girls' Generation and Super Junior, have already pursued individual careers in the entertainment business. Big Bang, having colorful members who each hold their own specific talent, have joined this "trend" and started to heighten their individual image, which will hopefully contribute to the team as a whole.

Seo In-young Returns as Solo

Seo In-young of female band Jewelry will return as solo singer later this month with a song written by Psy. The release of Seo's new solo album is scheduled for July 23rd, which signals a fierce battle over the title of top dancing queen with Uhm Jung-hwa and Lee Hyo-lee.

The title song of Seo's second solo album was composed by Psy before he went to serve in the military. The song was adapted to suit Seo's energetic style. She will also sport a different, cuter image for the new release, shedding her sexy diva persona. Having set the recent fashion trend with her mushroom-style hairdo and obsession with new shoes, she will continue on her role as a fashion icon by introducing a unique hair style and outfits.
