The 9th PiFan will show a total of 172 films from 32 countries on nine screens in Puchon until July 23. And the festival will screen "Open Water" and "The Wind Mill Palm Forest" as the closing films.
Directed by Chris Kentis, "Open Water" is a story of two scuba divers stranded in the ocean, and Yoo Sang-wook's "The Wind Mill Palm Forest" is about a young potential lawyer who falls in love with a factory worker.
The festival consists of four main sections _ Puchon Choice, World Fantastic Cinema, Fantastic Short Films, Family Section _ along with six special programs and a retrospective.
In Puchon Choice, the festival's official competition section, nine feature films and nine short films will compete.
