Official poster for musical "Goong" [Group 8]
Hit television drama "Princess Hours" is set to be made into a musical, according to a press release by the show's producer Group 8.
Group 8 explained that they had long planned on creating the musical version of "Goong", originally based on a comic series before being made into an adaptation on the small screen in 2006.
The musical "Goong" -- the first of the "Group 8 Musical Collection" series -- will be filled with fancy art direction, which the TV series was also famous for, and include various music genres and dance sequences....More

Korean actor Yoon Sang-hyeon [Asia Economic Daily]
Korean actor Yoon Sang-hyeon verbally agreed to appear in the new season of variety show "Family Outing",, according to his agency MGB Entertainment.
An official at MGB told Asia Economic Daily over the phone Wednesday the actor has "given a verbal agreement to do the show with the producers of the show".
However, the official went on to say, "But it literally is only a verbal agreement, not a commitment. We didn't sign the contract yet. We'll have to see what happens in the future".
The agency had explained yesterday that "nothing has been set" after news broke out that Yoon was considering to appear on the second season of "Family", one of the most popular variety programs in Korea which will soon end its first season run....More
Korean actor Yoon Sang-hyeon [Asia Economic Daily]
Korean actor Yoon Sang-hyeon is reportedly considering to appear in the new season of variety show "Family Outing", according to his agency MGB Entertainment.
An official at MGB told Asia Economic Daily over the phone Tuesday that Yoon has been asked to appear on the show's second season, but also explained that they were "baffled the news had been printed in the media".
"Yoon Sang-hyeon is scheduled to work in Japan and looking into new projects so nothing has been set", the official said. "But he is discussing the matter on a positive note".
The entire cast from the first season of "Family", including the show's host Yoo Jae-seok and singer Lee Hyo-lee, are set to leave the show....More
