Actor Choi Daniel [Chae Ki-won/10Asia]

He first made himself known to the world in a TV commercial in 2008. As an employee who slacks off while his boss is not looking. Of course, these so-called 'CF stars' come and go with the change of seasons but Choi Daniel made his mark later that winter with TV series "Worlds Within". He played the role of an assistant director in the drama which recorded ratings in the single digit-range, but his realistic acting matched up to the acting of veteran actress Yoon Yeo-jeong and helped him not to go unnoticed amongst superstars Song Hye-kyo and Hyeon Bin. He was not a 'pretty boy' or managed by a large talenthouse but Choi, who had acted on stages since he was in high school, was set to take his victory through acting. And now, he stands at the center of a love triangle in "High Kick Through The Roof" where he is the subject of both affection and admiration for Se-gyeong and the sometimes slow-witted boyfriend of Jung-eum. 10Asia met with the 23-year-old actor to get a closer look into his thoughts about acting.

10: You wrote a posting on your blog on the dawn between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Choi Daniel (Choi): Did you see it? That was when I got home after a shoot. I went back out for shoot again on Christmas Day.

10: It seems like you work on a killing schedule.
Choi: This is my first time working on a sitcom and I was surprised at how busy things are. I think we shoot all week. I feel like I'm taking a break on the days I have no nighttime shoot but maybe about two scenes to shoot during the daytime. (laugh)...More

Actress Yoon Yeo-jeong will be in the new film, "Housemaid". Jeon Do-yeon, Lee Jeong-jae, and  Seo Woo are the cast in this new thriller film which is a remake of the 1960's version.

The new "Housemaid" will be about a maid and the master having an intimate relationship that brings chaos. The maid will be Jeon and the master will be Lee Jeong-jae. The master's wife Hera will be Seo Woo.

Actor Kim Nam-gil [Chae Ki-won/10Asia]

It may seem foolish to identify an actor as a role he played but Kim Nam-gil is similar in many ways to the character Bidam he played in MBC TV series "Queen Seon-deok" this year. His ability to throw in jokes in between the dialogue on every occasion he gets while also being able to go back straight to being serious and genuine to give heartfelt and mature responses for the actual interview, proved Kim is great at handling various situations. "I had once talked about this with actor Jung Jae-young -- people who grew up wealthy can understand those who grew up hungry but not sympathize with them. And vice versa, those who haven't been wealthy before cannot be aware of or know the difficulties wealthy people face despite seemingly living in abundance. Even I myself think "If I only had money. You can do everything in Korea if you have money. What could be so tough about it?" For actress Ko Hyeon-jeong, the year 2009 will be remembered as the busiest, yet most rewarding of her career, as she has been recognized for her powerful acting skills on both the small and big screens.

She displayed an unprecedented amount of charisma in the hit TV drama "Queen Seon-deok" as Mishil, a strong female character in whom good and evil coexist as she enforces her rule and pursues her own desires. The show marked the rare appearance of a strong female character in the Korean drama scene.

Ko also won acclaim for her role in the movie "Like You Know It All" directed by Hong Sang-soo. It was her second collaboration with the director after the 2006 movie "Woman on the Beach".
