The Pusan International Film Festival(PIFF) has newly appointed programmers for its major sections and restructured management for the Asian Film Market. CHO Young Jung, formerly in charge of programming World Cinema will be selecting the Asian line-up this year in an effort to strengthen the program.

PIFF (Pusan International Film Festival) newly appointed its programmers for programming and restructured management for Asian Film Market.

Acclaimed director Hong Sang-soo will return to the Berlin International Film Festival with his eighth film "Night and Day", which screens in the festival's competition section. This will be the first time that a film by HONG competes at Berlin, after his previous works "Woman is the Future of Man" (2004) and "Tale of Cinema" (2005) competed at Cannes.

Director Hong Sang-soo's film "Night and Day" starring actress Hwang Soo-jeong will compete in the 58th Berlin International Film Festival (Feb. 7-17).

The film, Hong's eighth, is the only Korean film invited to the competitive section. It will have its world premiere during the festival.
