The beginning of April saw the wonderfully talented actress Moon So-ri appear at a Q&A at the BAFTAs HQ, organised by the Korean Cultural Centre, London. Her appearance marked the first of four Korean actors coming to London as part of the KCC UK's 'Year of the 4 Actors' film programme. Prior to Moon So-ri's visit, the KCC UK screened five films in which she starred, including "Oasis" and "A Good Lawyer's Wife". The final film in the Moon So-ri season, "Ha Ha Ha", was screened before her Q&A with the film audience. The Korean Cultural Centre in London has officially revealed their star studded line up for their 2013 Korean film programme, 'The Year of the 4 Actors'. Although we've known since the beginning of the year that actress Moon So-ri would be coming over, up until now the rest of the actors have been kept under wraps. But now all is revealed! Joining Moon So-ri in the line up and paying the KCC UK a visit later on this year will be Choi Min-sik, Jeon Do-yeon and Ha Jeong-woo! The striking combination of black and white, the sensuality of see-through fabrics, and the artistic mix of black and blue denim dominated the runaway on the third day of the Fall/Winter Seoul Fashion Week. Camera flashes were ubiquitous, with the eyes of fashionistas from all around the world on the fashion models elegantly walking the catwalk.

Seoul Fashion Week kicked off at two venues, the IFC Mall in Yeouido and Blue Square in Hannam-dong, Seoul on March 25, running until March 30. Attended by up-and-coming fashion designers armed with creative ideas and the existing top-class trend-setters of Korea, this six-day fashion festival has taken a deep look at the future of Korean fashion, or K-fashion, for the fall and winter seasons of 2013.

With many overseas celebrities, such as Director Nicola Formichetti of famous French brand Thierry Mugler, also well-known as the stylist of Lady Gaga as well as several K-pop idol groups and Korean actors and actresses, the fashion show enjoyed the spotlight both domestically and internationally. Alternative movies fan are looking forward to the 14th Jeonju International Film Festival, as the global fair is just around the corner. The organizer of Korea's leading independent film festival for art house and indie films just announced on March 26 the list of 190 movies that will compete for the awards or be screened for the public during the festival.

The festival will be held for nine days from April 26 to May 3 at Megabox and CGV movie theaters, Jeonju Cinema Town, JIFF Theque, and Chonbuk National University Cultural Center. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held at Sory Arts Center of Jeollabuk-do...More
