The main purpose of this short sketch is to raise the awareness of the background of certain actions. I will present 3 Rules and 5 Bonds (Relations) that are fundamental in Confucian philosophy and their reverberations in the modern society.
Confucian values.
Realization of those values in life.
Contemporary society.

KBS TV series “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” finished its run on November 2. In the story set in late 18th century Joseon, a girl named Kim Yoon-hee (Park Min-yeong) entered the royal academy of SungKyunKwan disguised as a boy where she learned that true learning heads toward people and that they are the very foundation of the country. King Jeongjo (Jo Seong-ha) too tells her, “Now it's your turn to dream of a new future for Joseon.” Trying to describe the ideals young people have is not easy. One wrong step and it can sound like an empty slogan or childish passion.
