Choi Kang is a jobless young man who spent a year doing nothing. He applied to over 100 companies and posted his resume on online job search websites without any success. Meanwhile, his younger brother Choi Sun gets hired at LK Group and becomes the pride of the family. So out of desperation, Choi Kang decides to apply for the civil service exam and gives up on finding a job in the private sector!

On the day of the civil service exam, he saves the life of an old lady who could have been hit by a car in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace. The car that almost hit the old lady was the president's private car. Without giving any reasons, Choi Kang refuses to receive a distinguished medal from the president for averting a fatal accident that the president could have committed.
