Kim Ha-neul is returning through a new movie!
Until now, she has been a melodramatic queen through "Lovers of 6 Years" with Yoon Kye-sang, "Ditto" with Yoo Ji-tae, "Almost Love" with Kwon Sang-woo, and "Too Beautiful To Lie" with Kang Dong-won.
In the recent drama "On Air" with Park Yong-ha and Lee Beom-soo she has been the sophisticated and high class character. And in "Romance" with Kim Jae-won she has been the cute and sweet actress who battles with love.##

Should couples live together before tying the knot? If this question were asked 20 years ago, most Korean respondents would have expressed their shock and disbelief, much less show any willingness to weigh pros and cons.
Back to the present: Koreans are not so ultraconservative any longer and the number of Korean couples trying out cohabitation is on the rise. The proof is that even a mass-market romantic flick like "Lovers of 6 Years" (6-nyeonjjae yeonae-jung) has chosen this daring topic and treats cohabitation as nothing special.
"Nothing special" is also a keyword for Da-jin (Kim Ha-neul), a hard-working editor at a publishing company, and her boyfriend Jae-young (Yoon Kye-sang), an equally diligent home shopping producer. Six years ago, they began to date. Two years ago, they started sleeping together. Now, they are next-door neighbors, but the wall separating their houses does not have any significant function. They virtually share their rooms -- and bedrooms at night. They... |More

"Swindler in My Mom's House", left, is a comic remake of a 1961 classic "Mother and the Guest in the Room of Master ", right, that traces the unspoken love between a gentleman lodger and a widow, played by actress Choi Eun-hee. But in the modern version, a pigtail-wearing mother and precocious teenage daughter both try to win the heart of a conniving Casanova staying at their house.

The family drama "The Houseguest and My Mother" brings to the screen a comic reinterpretation of the 1961 film, starring two notoriously funny actors that spices up the romantic love story of the original version. "The Houseguest and My Mother" delights viewers with lovable characters and warm scenes capturing the comical and dramatic moments of everyday life. But alas, remakes, especially that of classic films, tend to be risky, and this film is no exception.

Choi Jin-sil takes role that is close to home
There is a woman who is trying her best to live happily with a man she knows does not love her. Then there is another woman who is trying her best to live happily with a man she knows she can no longer love.
It seems likely both women would be depressed, but add another detail and things become clearer ― the second woman believes having a secret affair with the first's husband is the best way for everybody to be happy; that way she doesn't have to get a divorce, she gets a lover and he doesn't need to divorce his wife to be with her.
This tale is currently just one plot for the upcoming MBC-TV drama series "Bad Woman, Good Woman", which airs its first episode in the New Year. But one actress involved in the project might consider the story line a bit too close to her own personal life. Choi Jin-sil, 38, is coming back to prime-time television as the "Good Woman" who has to put up with an unfaithful husband, his daughter from his ... |More
