Hallyu star Lee Joon-ki in his previous TV series "Hero - Drama" [MBC]
Korean actor Lee Joon-ki will star in an upcoming historical drama tentatively titled "Faith" in English, according to his agency on Friday.
The actor will play the male lead in the drama, playing a young student of Eastern medicine who grows up be a legendary doctor during the Koryo Period.
The series will be helmed by famed Korean director Kim Jong-hak, who is known for his blockbuster scale dramas such as "The Legend" (MBC, 2007), which starred top actor Bae Yong-joon, and "Sandglass" (SBS, 1995), which scored the highest viewership ratings in local television history.##

Top Korean actress Ko Hyeon-jeong is set to star in a new television drama alongside Hallyu star Kwon Sang-woo, according to local media reports on Thursday.
The actress has decided to appear in the drama tentatively titled "Big Thing" in English ("Daemul", "The Substitute"), after long and hard consideration, the reports said.

Dae-sung, member of popular boy band Big Bang, will replace T.O.P., the rapper of the same group, to star in a new TV series by famed writer Song Ji-na.
