Japanese news media outlets have given a favorable response to actor Kang Dong-won, calling him a new hallyu star who will succeed to the level of top star Bae Yong-joon.
The Japanese daily Sankei Sports said on May 2, "Kang Dong-won successfully wrapped up his fan meeting held in Japan on May 1 in celebration of the publication of his photo album.
