'The nation's younger brother' Yoo Seung-ho is drawing attention with his recent images.

He attended the ceremony of appointment as a public relations ambassador for the Korean Federation of Teachers Association. He has grown to 171 centimeters and did not disappoint many fans who said, 'Don't change'.

He showed his mature side through last year's dramas "The Legend" and "King and I" and rose as a heartthrob.

Also, because of his increased popularity, he experienced an incident that drew no laughs.

He is attending IlSan Baek-suk Junior High, and female students from Baek-shin High School next door ran to see him during physical education, and the wall separating the two schools fell.

Yoo Seung-ho's is awaiting the release of "Unforgettable", a movie about a group of rural kids who go on a school trip to Seoul....

The popular pop idols of Korea and Japan, TVXQ! and Arashi, ranked in first place concurrently on the April 22nd Oricon charts.

TVXQ!'s 22nd single "Beautiful You" ranked first on the April 23rd Oricon Daily Singles chart after selling approximately 21,000 albums.

The single was very popular with fans of the Bae Yong-joon TV drama "The Legend", as it features the theme song to the drama which started broadcasting in Japan on the 5th.

Arashi's original eighth album "Dream 'A' Live" shot to the tops of the Oricon charts on the day of its release. It contains the tracks " Happiness " and "Step and Go". Both were ranked number one on the weekly singles charts. The album was a limited edition that also included a special CD with each of the five members singing solo.

The live DVD they released on the 16th, "Summer Tour 2007, Final Time", was recorded as the best-selling DVD this year and commanded first place on the April 28th Oricon DVD Weekly Charts.

Korean TV and film stars gathered together for The 44th PaekSang Arts Awards Thursday evening in Seoul. The Awards honors filmmakers, TV actors and actresses, producers and programs that made distinguishing marks in the field of visual media arts.

In the film category, the grand prize went to "The Chaser" directed by Na Hong-jin, who also won the best new director award. "The Chaser" has attracted over 5 million filmgoers so far, winning the top-grossing film title for the first half of 2008. The best director award went to Lee Chang-dong of "Secret Sunshine" and the best picture award to "Forever the Moment", based on a true story of the Korean women's handball team. Im Chang-jeong of "Scout" was named the best actor and Kim Min-hee of "Hellcats" the best actress. Also hunky superstar Kwon Sang-woo and lovely Kim Jeong-eun won the popularity vote.

The grand prize in the TV category was given to Kang Ho-dong for his leadership in the "One Night Two Days" segment of the entertainm...

Actress Lee Ji-ah, who starred in the history drama series "The Legend", will make a guest appearance on a talk show about popular Asian dramas at the Osaka studio of Japan's NHK TV.

Lee's management agency BOF recently said that she will appear as a guest in the May special edition of the talk in front of 500 audience members. The talk show will introduce the historical drama series and the actress will get the chance to answer questions asked by the audience members.

An NHK official said "The Legend", which began airing on NHK from April 5 has been dubbed "Winter Sonata 2" for its high viewer ratings. The official added that Lee's outstanding performance in the drama series is quickly making her a star in Japan as well.

Lee is currently shooting a brand new drama series on MBC TV entitled "Beethoven Virus" with actor Kim Myeong-min....
