Synopsis

"Wedding" is one of those rare stories that provide a glimpse into the "lived-happily-ever-after" life of a newlywed couple. The series begins with the wedding ceremony of the two main characters.

A daughter of a rich family and a music college graduate, Se-na (played by Jang Nara) works as a house manager at a theater, and is one day introduced to Seung-woo (played by Ryoo Shi-won), a diplomat. Soon, the two tie the knot only because they "fit" each other, but as time goes by, they clash over virtually every issue due to their widely different backgrounds and life values.

As the marital discord grows, Seung-woo gradually falls in love with Yun-soo (played by Myung Se-bin), his childhood sweetheart, who is so much different from his reckless wife Se-na. But watching Seung-woo grow aloof from her, Se-na, on the contrary, starts feeling attracted to him and decides to do her utmost to captivate his heart for good.

Casting

Jang Nara : Lee Se-na

A piano-major graduate of a music college, Se-na grew up in an affluent family, and currently works as a house manager at the Seoul Arts Center. She has a sassy and cheerful personality and really enjoys her work, but lacks enthusiasm and passion to succeed in her career. She is more interested in interior decoration and household chores, and thinks marriage is exactly what she needs.

Ryoo Si-won : Han Seung-woo

Seung-woo had dreamed of becoming a writer since his childhood, but had to give up his dream as the oldest son in his family who would never do anything to disappoint his parents. After graduating from college, he decides to become a diplomat, and currently works at the Foreign Ministry. He is responsible, honest and remarkably erudite.

Lee Hyeon-woo : Seo Jin-hee

A Foreign Ministry official with 10 years of experience, this man puts priority on his career and ambitions rather than love. He avoids developing serious relationships with women, but when he meets Yun-soo, Seung-woo's hometown friend, he falls for her warmhearted and scrupulous personality.

Myeong Se-bin : Shin Yun-soo

A florist and Seung-woo's first love, Yun-soo had a difficult childhood, but her upbeat and charming personality can spellbind anyone.

Japan's Miyazaki Prefecture is making utmost efforts to benefit from the Korean Wave, or Korean pop culture craze, sweeping the Asian region. The prefecture is trying to attract Korean film and TV program production companies to the region as a way to promote its own tourism industry.

As part of its efforts, the prefecture on the island of Kyushu has decided to establish a film committee that will be in charge of the project, publish a guidebook entitled "Miyazaki LocaNavi"--a word combining "location" and "navigation"--which introduces locations where movies and dramas were shot in the prefecture, and opening a website in Korean and Chinese as well as Japanese.

The prefecture government believes that its efforts will achieve the effect of "killing two birds with one stone" because attracting Korean drama and film production companies will eventually increase the number of tourists who want to see filming locations.

Last year, the KBS drama "Wedding" filmed a scene in Miyazaki...

The new KBS Monday-Tuesday series "A Love To Kill", written by Lee Kyeong-hee and produced by Kim Kyoo-tae, has already drawn significant attention from viewers ahead of its premiere on Oct. 31. The series' leading actor, "Rain" (real name Chung Ji-hoon), said that viewers would be surprised when they see the pilot episode of the drama, and it seems he is absolutely correct.

Immediately after the teaser of "A Love To Kill" aired on Oct. 20 prior to the Wednesday-Thursday series "My Rosy Life", the drama's Web site bulletin board was flooded with messages. It was the second teaser for the new series so far, with the first one airing on Oct. 13.

The 38-second-long teaser caught viewers' eyes by featuring a bruised "Rain", who plays a K-1 fighter in the drama, against the backdrop of a cloudy sky in the heart of a city, and his co-star Sin Min-ah against a clear blue sky at the seashore. The teaser was produced in the form of a wide aspect movie-like screen. The final scene of the t...
More than 3,000 Japanese fans flocked to the filming sites of the KBS TV2 series "Wedding", starring two hallyu stars, Jang Nara and Ryoo Si-won, to see the two film the series' honeymoon scenes in Japan.

More than 3,000 fans as well as crowds of local journalists attended the event. The series two other lead actors, Lee Hyeon-woo (who plays Ryoo's senior in the series) and Myung Se-bin, also participated.
