Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF)'s fourth Premiere Star Summit event selected Soo-ae ("Sunny") as the female Rising Star and HA Jeong-woo ("The Chaser") received the male Rising Star award. "Seven Days" director WON Sin-yeon took home the Rising Star award in the director category.
JEONG Kyeong-ho won the best actor nod for "Sunny". JEONG Ryeo-won ("2 Faces of My Girlfriend") picked up the best actress award in the presence of major stars, including KIM Ji-woon, LEE Byeong-heon, and JEONG Woo-seong, and international stars Li Xioalu and Fan Wing.
HA cemented his name internationally through highly praised independent films which were selected throughout the world by film festivals. His breakthrough was "The Unforgiven" and he topped the box office this year with the sleeper hit "The Chaser", another film coveted by global film festivals.

LEE Hae-joon is attempting his solo feature film directorial debut with the film "Castaway on the Moon", Kimssi pyoryoogi (English translation: "the adventures of Mr. KIM"). He previously co-directed the acclaimed "Like a Virgin" with LEE Hae-yeong.
The titular character will be played by JEONG Jae-yeong. JEONG's character runs to the Han River in Seoul to commit suicide, but it won't come that far. JEONG previously starred in JANG Jin's "Someone Special" and "Guns and Talks". He is currently in cinemas with "Public Enemy Returns" and "The Divine Weapon".
Mr. KIM's change of plans is due to another KIM, a woman played by JEONG Ryeo-won. JEONG was seen in last year's "2 Faces of My Girlfriend".
Filming started in late August. The film is scheduled for a release in next year.

LEE Hae-joon, half of the directing duo of "Like a Virgin", announced the casting of his next film mr. Kimssineun Pyoroogi ("Castaway on the Moon"). JEONG Jae-yeong and actress JEONG Ryeo-won will be the lead actors.
The film seems likely to be financed by director/producer KANG Woo-seok. They are still preparing the shoot.
LEE directed "Like a Virgin" together with LEE Hae-yeong. Kimssineun Pyoorogi is about a man and a woman meeting at the Han river in Seoul it will be LEE's first time directing alone.
JEONG's filmography includes, "Someone Special" and "Welcome to Dongmakgol". JEONG starred in the film "2 faces of My Girlfriend".

Lee Yeon-hee, Han Ye-seul, Lee Bo-yeong, Jeong Ryeo-won, and Lee Ha-na were nominated for the New Actress Award in a movie for the 44th Baek-sang Awards.
According to the announcement, Lee Bo-yeong of "Once Upon a Time", Lee Yeon-hee of "M", Lee Ha-na of "Le Grand Chef", Jeong Ryeo-won of "2 Faces of My Girlfriend", and Han Ye-seul of "Miss Gold Digger" were nominated.
There is great expectation for who will receive the glory of the award, for they are all beautiful great stars. Also, "The Chaser" has been nominated for six categories at this year's Baek-sang Awards, including best picture, best directing, new director, best screenplay, best actor, and popularity.
Other nominees for the best picture were "Forever the Moment", "Secret Sunshine", "Happiness", and "May 18".
The Baek-sang Awards will be on April 24.
