TV personalities, actresses use star power to persuade fans to lead more eco-friendly lives
With their packed schedules, celebrities undoubtedly have a lot to worry about. But some have managed to find time for an interest entirely unrelated to fashion disasters or TV show shoots - the planet.
Most recently, actress Kim Hyeon-joo, who appeared in the TV dramas "The Partner" and "Boys Over Flowers" last year, spent time with 200 fans at a small club located in Sangsu-dong near Hongik University, in central Seoul. There, she demonstrated how to make eco-friendly shopping bags with a sewing machine.
The 32-year-old actress often says, "You can care for the environment by making eco-bags or placemats instead of using plastic bags and disposable napkins. I believe my hobby makes the world a better place". Kim even wrote a book on her tips for eco-friendly sewing projects such as oven mitts, aprons and napkins.

Movie fans may have highly anticipated the 46th Grand Bell (Daejong) Film Festival, which took place Friday in southern Seoul, but the outcome of the event was unexpected.
The festival's award ceremony had many shaking their heads, as some of the most successful films took home fewer trophies than expected, while the lack of participating stars left the event feel a bit empty.
This year's Best Picture award went to "The Divine Weapon", pushing aside hit blockbusters "Haeundae" and "Mother - 2009".
"Mother - 2009", which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, managed only to win the Best Supporting Actor award, while "Haeundae", which was nominated in nine categories and was one of the biggest films of the year, won only Best Producer.
"Take Off" was nominated in seven categories but only won Best Director, while "Closer to Heaven" took home Best Actor. "Haeundae" and "Take Off" attracted a total of 12.93 million movies goers, alternating ... |More

The colorful outfits are difficult to pinpoint as best dressers, mostly, they are not wise choices. A lot of accessories or items make the look uncoordinated and messy rather than sophisticated and modern.
The detail and patterns should not be adorned with a lot of jewleries and should be minimal.
Choi Kang-hee and Park Ye-jin have worn the colorful dresses in different places.
Choi wore it for the film meeting, "Ae-ja" and Park Ye-jin wore it for the press meeting for the film, "Fortune Salon".
