The kiss scenes are essential in a drama in describing the romantic relationships between the characters. Recently, the Wed-Thu dramas, "New Heart", "Robber" and "Hong Gil Dong" have shown interesting kiss scenes which doubled the shows' enjoyment. These kiss scenes are uniquely different in everyway as these dramas are, however the one common ground exists throughout is that they are all "Calmi Cuori Appassionati".

KWON Chil-in returns with modern day relation drama

Director KWON Chil-in previously helmed "A Good Day to Fall in Love" and "Singles". His latest film "Hellcats" also deals with romantic relationships and features three modern women who struggle when it comes to dating men. AHN So-hee of the popular girls band Wonder Girls makes her film debut as a high school girl. Her single mother is played by LEE Mi-sook and KIM Min-hee portrays the mother's younger sister.

KIM's character is a struggling film scenario writer, who has to choose between her poor boyfriend and a rich Korean-American suitor who wants to marry her and take her to the U.S., and has a hard time quitting smoking.

LEE is décor designer of a theatre group. She starts an affair with a younger man, an actor from the theatre group. Despite the actor's serious intentions, she keeps her distance, while she obsessively exercises to stay in shape.

[MOVIE REVIEW] 'Hellcats' rejects men, holds girl-only party

Killing wimpy men in a chick film is lots of fun. "Hellcats" (Ddeugeoun geotsi joa), a girls-only initiation drama, follows the feminist formula faithfully, but does not go the full nine yards; no guys ends up shot. Instead, the gals toy with the emasculated Korean men -- in and outside of bed.

The movie, to be released on Jan. 17, is chiefly concerned with the three representative women (or girls, if you like). The narrator is A-mi (Kim Min-hee), a twenty-something screenwriter who has yet to create her debut feature, and struggles with a deadbeat boyfriend whose prospect as a professional rocker seems slim, at best.

And in the bit-mature, quasi-womanly stage is her big sister Young-mi (Lee Mi-sook), a middle-aged, almost workaholic interior designer who gets entangled with a far younger boyfriend.

Famous beach destination surrenders itself to celluloid

There was a time when Kim Dong-ho had to fight those who ridiculed the idea of an international film festival in the port city of Busan.
When he recalls those days from 1995, when he was launching the film festival, Kim, the festival's director, is relishing the fact that the Pusan International Film Festival (or PIFF) is about to enjoy its 12th opening night next Thursday and has become one of the most important film festivals in Asia.
What makes him even more proud is that the festival is ready to offer its audience 275 films from 66 countries. This year's theme, "Beyond the Frame", was chosen to suggest that PIFF is ready jump to a higher level.
Kim is also delighted that 66 films in the PIFF 2007 lineup are having their world premiere in Busan and 35 are being shown for the first time outside of their home country, reflecting the festival's growing status. Leading Actors Keep 'Two Faces' Afloat

Romantic comedies come in all forms, starring out-of-ordinary heroines like Drew Barrymore in "50 First Dates" (2004), who suffers from short-term memory loss; and Uma Thurman, an estranged super-powered woman in "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" (2006). Likewise, "2 Faces of My Girlfriend" takes the classic genre to a whole new level featuring a character with a severe case of multiple personality disorder.

Gu-chang (Bong Tae-gyu) leads a tragic existence. The seventh-year college student constantly fails job interviews and lives off of an allowance from his divorced sister while taking money from his little nephew. To make matters worse, the almost 30-year-old virgin has never had a girlfriend, let alone experienced his first kiss. In Korean, Gu-chang is a homonym for the word meaning "a sore in the mouth".
