Korean actress Moon Geun-yeong is on a break after becoming infected with Hepatitis A, according to a source with KBS TV series "Cinderella's Sister".
The source said in a phone call with Asia Economic Daily on Monday that the actress, who plays the lead role in the upcoming show, was "recently diagnosed with Hepatitis A".##
"Moon has stopped taking part in the shoot for 'Cinderella's Sister' and is currently resting", explained the source, yet adding that the situation will "not affect the premiere airing on March 31" since the actress will return to the set in a couple of days.

The Seoul International Drama Awards 2009 will be held for 10 days starting from Sept. 4 at various venues around the city.
A total of 169 dramas from 37 countries will compete at this year's event under the slogan "Enjoy Star & Story".
"The purpose of the SDA 2009 is to raise the profile of Korean series in the international drama market and to expand cultural exchanges", an official from the organizing committee said.
Some of Korea's favorite programs will compete with some of the best works from around the world, including countries like Japan, Sweden, Italy and even Ecuador. The awards will be divided into two categories: The Best Drama Award and Individual Prizes. Popular Korean dramas "Beethoven Virus" (MBC), "Painter of the Wind" (SBS) and "The Slingshot" (KBS) will compete with England's "Doctor Who Season 4", China's "Memories of China" and Canada's "The Englishman's Boy", among others.

Lee, of the hit new drama series "Boys over Flowers", has shot up to stardom. Jeong is also getting significant attention, and his drama "Iljimae Returns - Moon River" has yet to start.
Moon, who won the Grand Prix at the SBS TV awards late last year, was the heroine of the historical drama "Painter of the Wind" while Jang cemented his popularity for his role in the hit music drama "Beethoven Virus".

The anonymous donor of W850 million (US$1=W1,392) over the last six years to the Community Chest of Korea stands revealed as 21-year-old actress Moon Geun-yeong.
The Community Chest of Korea on Thursday said the actress denied online rumors that she was the donor, but her agency okayed the disclosure, so the organization decided to make it public.
Since Nov. 2003, Moon has been donating all or part of her earnings from commercials, films and soap operas. Her donations were used to build children's libraries and subsidize hospital costs for children suffering from leukemia or cancer. Apart from the Community Chest of Korea, Moon has also given several hundred millions of won to scholarship foundations.
Namoo Actors, Moon's agency, said, "For Moon's family, charity seems a natural part of life rather than a special event. Because she has always made the donations with her mother, not through the agency, we do not know how much she has given".

Actress Moon Geun-yeong has been revealed as the anonymous donor of more than 850 million won (US$ 850.000) for the past six years, making her the biggest individual giver in the Korean Community Chest's history.
According to the organization, the 21-year-old actress, who is currently starring in the popular drama "Painter of The Wind", donated in past years, anonymously, at her request.
However, as the organization announced a list of their top donors in tune with its 10th anniversary and ruled out Moon's name with an "anonymous actress in her 20s", there had been ongoing rumors about the mysterious donor. People working in and out of the entertainment business started to point to Moon, as she had already donated in the past.
