Director Jeon Soo-il is due to participate in the upcoming Hong Kong – Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF) with the project "Another Country". At the time of writing, he was shooting his latest film "El Condor Pasa" in Busan and Peru. "Another Country" will be his next film after "El Condor Pasa".

The 14th Deauville Asian Film Festival in France has unveiled their line-up this year to include JANG Hui-cheol's "Beautiful Miss Jin" and Jeon Soo-il's "Pink" from the Republic of Korea.
A drama/comedy set around Busan's busy Dong-rae station, director Jang Hui-cheol's "Beautiful Miss Jin" previously debutedat last year's Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in theKorean Cinema Today– Vision section. Busan’s representative director Jeon Soo-il’s eight full feature film is set around 'Pink', a shabby bar, and captures in detail the low lives with the director’s characteristic static style. The performance by Seo Kap-sook, who returns to the big screen for the first in over 10 years since [Bongja], music by artist Kang San-eh, and the picturesque scenery of Goon-san beach, complete with the flying seagulls, add make the film an unquestionably memorable experience.
