    • Song Il-gook may star in new movie

      2013/04/17, Source,
Song Il-gook may return to the big screen after an eight-year hiatus in "Come Back to Pusan Port". He is considering the leading role in his first film since "Red Eye" and "The Art of Seduction" in 2005, according to local media reports. In the film, he would play twin brothers who were separated in Busan when they were young. They later meet again after falling in love with the same woman but have led very different lives. One is a policeman and the other is a gang member,...More

    • [HanCinema's Movie Review] "Two Moons", Two Films and One Colour.

      2013/03/16,
It was eight years after "Red Eye" that Kim Dong-bin decided that another stab at his own version of 'locked room' horror was in order. This time around Kim moves from a haunted train carriage to a more classic cabin in the woods setting. "Two Moons" (aka "The Sleepless") did managed to surpass Kim's previous horrific effort, which many consider to be one of the most unimpressive additions to the periodic K-horror wave. Here though he attracted more than three times as many viewers. Sadly that still only put the film on 426,574 admissions, as Kim continues to be haunted by a few dogged ghosts of his own,...More

      2012/07/16,
HanCinema's Korean Box Office Review  (2012.07.13~ 2012.07.15) This past weekend saw "Deranged" enjoy a second week at the top, with "Spiderman" still right behind it in second. Park Jeong-woo's disaster film was the only film to breach the million admissions mark, claiming 1,151,314 (43.60%) admissions and moving its total up to 3,229,597. The weekend top ten contains only two other Korean entries, Kim Dong-bin "Two Moons" and Koo Ja-hong "Dangerously Excited" both made their entry into the chart but only managed a little over 330,000 between them,...More

creepy yes, confuseing yes, but at least it explains it self. by brooks

    I
n america our films have really gotten to the point of what really sucks!! That is why all we can make are remakes, and unfortunatly remakes of really great Asian films that we then remake really bad. Red Eye has not been remade here yet. Though our film makers are even running out of names for movies hence we have Wes Cravens Red Eye. a predictable and sad attempt at nothing. Ok Red Eye the S. Korean film is a creepy ghost story. With yes a twist. I liked it.
