What is a common thing between Yoon Eun-hye, "Rain", Han Ye-seul, Jo Seung-woo and Kim Ah-joong? They have all became big stars through 'substitute casting'. On 13th, the cable channel's Story On's 'Cover story' deals with those 'substitute casts' who earned their roles over their original casts and made a big hits.

The recent example is Yoon Eun-hye from drama "Coffee Prince" who literary was a centre of attention during the course of the drama. Initially, the role was first suggested to Kim Ah-joong but she was under an exclusive contract with a shampoo company and a contract term states that she maintains long hair until the contract finishes. So the role was given to Yoon Eun-hye, who was prepared to cut her hair short for the role.

The cast and crew of KIM Ji-woon's hotly anticipated western "The Good, The Bad, The Weird" has overcome extreme weather and unexpected delays to wrap up a 100-day shoot in China.

Production of the film is now 80% complete, with the remaining 20% of shooting to take place in North Jeolla Province. A release is expected in the first half of 2008.

The entire production crew for the China shoot numbered more than 400 people, who struggled to deal with desert conditions where temperatures ranged from 10 degrees Celsius at night to 40 degrees in the afternoon.

The remote site also presented many challenges, as some of the best shooting locations were inaccessible by road. Nonetheless, with close assistance from China Film, the crew was able to complete the difficult shooting and return to Korea.

Song Kang-ho played an eccentric yet strangely charming gangster in "No. 3" (1997), when he gave a funny lecture to his underlings about how to beat up enemies: "A long time ago, there was a man named Choi Young-ui, and he staged a showdown with the entire world, you know. His style is like this. Just walking and walking. Then the enemy tries to - saying 'uh, uh' - block his move. Just then, he grabs the arm of the enemy. He asks, 'Is this your arm?' CEO OH Jeong-wan of bom Film Productions decided to concentrate on film making aspects. Therefore, he internally switched to lead the Production Department of bom Film Productions.

The new CEO is bom Film Productions former chief financial officer JO Kwang-hee. JO made his name in the Korean entertainment industry when he was working as an entertainment lawyer. He has been influential in protecting Korean films' copyrights and from censorship.

bom Film Productions next film will be "Home coming" directed by Lee Jae-yong. They previously worked together on "An Affair" and "Untold Scandal".

KIM Ji-woon is another influential director working with bom Film Productions, it resulted in films like: "The Foul King", "A Tale of Two Sisters" and "A Bittersweet Life".

Kim Soo-ro and Kam Woo-seong, two veteran actors, worked together on the upcoming comedy film "Ssonda" ("Shooting)". Close friends in real life, they are confident that their combination will produce some laughs.

"I was able to focus all my energy on the film without having to use some of it to get to know unfamiliar co-stars", Kim said Friday during a news conference at Lafesta Mall in Ilsan, Kyonggi Province. "Working with people I know definitely helps me to make more commercially successful films".

The friendship between the two 36-year-old men began when they co-starred in the 2005 comedy "A Bold Family" ("Super Family"), in which they played brothers with contrasting personalities but the same goal: their father's fortune.
