Korean film "Blades of Blood" has been sold to five countries ahead of its release, according to the movie producers Achim Pictures on Friday.
The trailer for "Blades of Blood" was shown at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival and five countries -- Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and South America -- purchased the picture which has yet to be released in Korea##.

Actor Hong Seok-cheon was virtually blacklisted after he came out as gay in 2000. But now he believes 'things have dramatically changed'.
Gay love was once a hush-hush topic in Korean TV dramas, but starting this month two prime-time shows, "Life is Beautiful" and "Personal Preference", will deal with two kinds of homosexual relationships, and in very different tones.
"Life is Beautiful", written by "soap opera queen" Kim Su-hyun, who most recently penned "Mom's Dead Upset" for KBS2, depicts the struggles of a gay couple played by Song Chang-ee and Lee Sang-woo, whose families, unaware of their orientation, constantly pressure them to go on blind dates with women. Top Korean actors Lee Jun-ki and Kim Tae-hee are set to star in a new film titled "Grand Prix", according to their agencies JG Company and Luah Entertainment on Monday.
Both agencies reported that the two stars have been cast for the lead roles and are waiting to sign the final contract for the film.
Veteran Korean actors Park Geun-hyeong and Ko Doo-sim are reportedly in talks to play supporting roles.##

Korean actor Lee Joon-ki will star in an upcoming historical drama tentatively titled "Faith" in English, according to his agency on Friday.
The actor will play the male lead in the drama, playing a young student of Eastern medicine who grows up be a legendary doctor during the Koryo Period.

James Cameron's Hollywood blockbuster "Avatar" has become the most-watched film in Korean box office history, according to estimates by the official Korean Film Council over the weekend.
