Actor Lee Byung-hun's agency said that Lee will visit Taiwan July 11 along with the director of the movie "A Bittersweet Life", Kim Jee-woon, at the invitation of the movie's Taiwanese distribution company.

On the day of his arrival, Lee will give interviews to the local media, and the following day will meet with his fans and promote his movie in Taipei and the nearby city of Kaohsiung.

A person from Lee's agency said Kaohsiung citizens were excited at the news that the actor is to visit their city. He also added that even Taipei Mayor Ma Ying-Jeou, a likely candidate to lead Taiwan in the future, wants to meet Lee in person.

Moreover, Lee's fans from various countries around the world are now traveling to Taiwan to congratulate the actor on his birthday, which falls on July 12.
