A dream team has got together for the new SBS Wednesday Thursday drama "City Hunter".
Scriptwriter Hwang Eun-kyeong from SBS drama "Daemul - Big Thing" is on board for the new SBS drama "City Hunter" starting May 25th.
Hwang wrote until the 6th episode of the drama "Daemul - Big Thing" and created an increase in the drama's popularity. She has been acknowledged for her work with medical drama "New Heart" and "Daemul - Big Thing". However, she had to go through the pain of stepping down from "Daemul - Big Thing" halfway and she has declared she will write away for the new drama "City Hunter".
Based on a world famous novel by Japanese writer Tsukasa Hozo, "City Hunter" is also being made into a drama for the first time in the world and is causing interest.
Producer Jin Hyeok from "Shining Inheritance" and "Prosecutor Princess", popular actor Lee Min-ho and writer Hwang create the dream team that 'will heat up 2011'.
The producers for the movie showed confidence by saying, "We have high expectations for writer Hwang. We also think when producer Jin Hyeok, actor Lee Min-ho and writer Hwang come together, they will create a synergy effect".
Meanwhile, "City Hunter" lays out a story just like the original, solving mysteries incisively and the main character growing up to be a City Hunter in the time of 2011 in Seoul and not 1980 in Tokyo.
