Cinema 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' starring Lee Young-ae entered into a distribution contract with Hong Kong Panorama company recently on the spot.
A person concerned responsible for this cinema's oversea affairs said he can't confirm about this movie's bargaining money exactly, but it is certain that cinema 'Sympathy For Lady Vengeance' received a satisfactory bargaining money corresponding to a high rank among Korean cinemas exported to Hong Kong to date.
The cinema is a finale of director Park Chan-wook's revenge movies following 'Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance' and 'Old Boy'.
This movie is scheduled to be released in June, this year at home. CJ Entertainment responsible for domestic distribution, expected that 'Sympathy for Lady Vengeance' would be able to pass over a record of 'Old Boy', considering the fact that by far a raft of people express interest in the movie more than director Park's previous vengeance movies.
"Sympathy For Lady Vengeance' will be the final film in Park's thematically linked trilogy of revenge flicks that started with Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and continued with the massively acclaimed Old Boy.
