Directed by Koo Sung-zoo and starring actress Ko Du-sim as a typical Korean mother, the film sheds light on the venerable notion of motherhood. A widow (played by Ko) in her 70s wants to attend her youngest daughter's wedding in another province but because of her carsickness, she decides to walk there with some of her family members. As the story develops, the characters on the journey discover the value of family while they struggle to arrive at their destination. Ko, who has given impressive performances as a mother in previous films and television dramas, including last year's movie "My Mother, the Mermaid," again gives a brilliant performance, especially for someone who is still shy of 70 by a good 20 years.
