Seoul Arts Cinema will show a total of 52 films dealing with the issue of political revolution in modern history. Marking the 60th anniversary of the end of Japanese colonial rule over Korea and the 25th anniversary of the Kwangju pro-democracy movement of 1980, the event aims at looking back on the history of the fierce 20th century revolutions. There will also be various other events such as a symposium and presentation of films by movie critics as well as a Q&A session with local directors. Some films are screened with English subtitles.
