Continuing from last year, MBC is suffering a drama drought with year-end awards coming up.
Several dramas were aired on MBC but only three of them went over 20% and only "The Greatest Love" remained a topic of discussion.
Last year, "Pasta", "Dong Yi" and "Flame of Desire" became well known, but only "Pasta" and "Dong Yi" went over 20%.
It's almost the same this year. "The Greatest Love", "Twinkle Twinkle", which put life into the weekends, and "Indomitable Daughters", which overcame the jinx of daily dramas, are the only ones that went over 20%. The only drama that caused a stir among viewers was "The Greatest Love".
The broadcasting stations are saying there isn't anyone good enough to get an award and the only candidate is Cha Seung-won.
