Moon Hee-jun: 'H.O.T Is Discussing Reunion'

The idol group H.O.T, which gained explosive popularity in the 1990s, seems to be preparing for a reunion. Group member Moon Hee-jun said when he appeared on the cable TV program "Kim Gu-ra and Moon Hee-jun's Browsing Girl" that will be broadcast on December 15 on OBS, "We all agreed to reunite following Lee Soo-man's direction, who is the president of SM Entertainment and founder of the group H.O.T in the past, without raising any objection".

The rumor of H.O.T's reunion arose when all five members gathered when group member Lee Jae-won-V was discharged from the army last March. Moon Hee-jun explained, "We actually talked about our reunion when Lee was discharged from the army and we almost agreed on the timing and the method of reunion, but now it has been postponed due to disagreement over detailed issues. We are still discussing those issues". He added, "All the group members want a reunion, but it is difficult to resolve every condition because all five of us belong to different agencies now".

H.O.T -- comprising Moon Hee-jun, Tony An, Kangta, Jang Woohyuk, and Lee Jae-won-V -- debuted with their title song "Warrior's Descendant" in 1996 and obtained great popularity with their hit songs such as "Candy" and "Happiness" until they decided to disband in 2001
