MSN Japan Covers New Korean Singer's Debut

The Japanese Internet portal MSN Japan has featured close coverage of the debut journey of a new Korean singer six months ahead of her official debut.

Son Dam-bi has grabbed attention with her fancy dance moves alongside 'Popin Hyeon-joon' in a recent commercial of Samsung Electronic's MP3 Yepp.

It's unusual that she first appeared in a TV commercial even before her debut.

Her management agency says that MSN Japan, after watching her commercial, became impressed by her good looks and dance skills and asked for the special coverage.

The portal will run 'video news' of her debut process, including her dance practices and scenes from her ordinary life, for a month.

The Japanese portal has carried content on Korean stars, films and dramas but it's the first time it will cover a completely unknown singer.

The first video has already been shot and has been airing since Wednesday.
